die Anmeldung für das Internationale Straßenmusikfestival 2026 startet im Januar!
Grund dafür sind unser neues Festival-Konzept und ein neues Anmeldesystem, mit dem wir den Bewerbungsprozess künftig noch übersichtlicher gestalten möchten.
Bei der Anmeldung für 2026 gibt es außerdem eine Neuerung: Neben Bands können sich erstmals auch Gaukler, Artist:innen und andere Straßenkünstler:innen bewerben und an den beiden Festivaltagen im Blühenden Barock auftreten.
Sobald die Anmeldung geöffnet ist, informieren wir euch hier über unsere Social-Media-Kanäle.

Dear musicians,
Registration for the 2026 Internationales Straßenmusikfestival will open in January!
This is due to our new festival concept and a new registration system, which we hope will make the application process even clearer in future.
There is also a new feature for the 2026 registration: in addition to bands, jugglers, performers and other street artists can also apply for the first time and perform at the Blühendes Barock on both days.
As soon as registration is open, we will inform you here via our Social Media channels.

Der Spielplan wird kurz vor dem Festival veröffentlicht. Die Künstler:innen bekommen diesen im Falle einer Teilnahme täglich vor Ort.
The schedule will be published shortly before the festival. In case of participation the artists receive a current schedule daily on site.
Spielzeiten des Straßenmusikfestivals? | Stage time of street music festival?
Auftrittszeiten sind Samstag und Sonntag 15:00 – 22:00 Uhr – insgesamt sechs Auftritte an zwei Tagen zu je 30 Minuten. Es wird auf der Hauptbühne des Festivals mit jedem/r Künstler:in zusätzlich ein kurzes Interview geführt. Jede:r Künstler:in darf nach dem Interview einen Song spielen.
Days of appearance are Saturday and Sunday from 3 p.m – 10 p.m – stage time will be a total of six performances on two days, each lasting 30 minutes. In addition, there will be a short interview with each group/artist on the main stage of the festival. Each artist may play a song after the interview.
Wettbewerb: | Competition:
Die Gäste des Straßenmusikfestivals können über die zwei Tage für ihre Lieblingskünstler:innen abstimmen. Den fünf beliebtesten Künstler:innen winkt ein zusätzliches Preisgeld. Die Bühnen sind mit Buchstaben nummeriert. Jede/r Künstler:in/Gruppe erhält eine Startnummer, die an der gerade bespielten Bühne ausgehängt wird. Dies ist wichtig für die Abstimmung des Publikums und hilft aufs Treppchen zu kommen. Siegerehrung ist am Sonntag ab 20:30 Uhr auf der Hauptbühne.
The festival guests can vote for their favourite artists over the two days. The five most popular artists will receive an additional prize money. The stages are numbered with letters. Each artist / group receives a start number, which have to be posted on the currently recorded stage. This is important for the vote of the audience and helps to get on the podium. The Award ceremony will be at the main stage on Sunday from 8:30 p.m.
Technik: | Equipment
Straßenmusik sollte mit so wenig Technik wie möglich auskommen. Die Instrumente, sowie zusätzliche selbst mitgebrachte Technik, müssen zwischen den Auftritten von Bühne zu Bühne getragen werden. Es ist vor Ort eine kleine Anlage vorhanden, auf die sich im besten Falle beschränkt wird – wir haben zwischen den Auftritten nur fünf Minuten Umbauzeit und ein ausgiebiger Soundcheck ist leider aus zeitlichen Gründen nicht möglich!
Street music should get along with as little technology as possible. The instruments, as well as additional self-brought technique, must be worn from stage to stage between the performances. There is a basic sound system on site, in best case artists should confine their technical support to the given system – we have only five minutes of conversion time between the performances, an extensive sound check is unfortunately not possible for reasons of time!
Unterkunft und Verpflegung: | Accommodation and catering:
Allen zugereisten Musiker:innen und Künstler:innen bieten wir die Möglichkeit, während des Festivals im eigens eingerichteten Camp von Samstag bis Montag kostenlos zu übernachten. Es verkehrt ein regelmäßiger Shuttlebus zwischen Camp und Festivalgelände.
Für Künstler:innen, die nicht im kostenlosen Künstler-Camp übernachten wollen, stellen wir eine Liste mit Hotels und Pensionen bereit (weitere Infos auf Anfrage). Die Übernachtungskosten werden nicht vom Veranstalter übernommen. Die aufgeführten Zimmerpreise sind nicht verbindlich, den exakten Preis erfahren sie bei den Anbietern direkt. Die Künstler:innen, die im Camp übernachten, bekommen hier ein kostenfreies Frühstück sowie Mittagessen vor Ort. Auf dem Festivalgelände bekommen alle Wasser und Verpflegungsgutscheine gestellt.
We offer all invited musicians and artists the opportunity to spend nights free of charge, in the specially furnished camp during the festival from Saturday to Monday. There is a regular shuttle bus between camp and festival area.
We provide a list of hotels and guesthouses for all artists, aren´t willing to stay in the free artist camp (more info on request). In this case accommodation costs will not be covered by the organizer. The listed room rates are not binding, exact price validation by each provider. The artists who stay at the camp receive a complimentary breakfast and lunch on site. All water and food vouchers are provided on the festival grounds.
Aufwandsentschädigung und Reisekosten: | Allowance and travel expenses:
Allen teilnehmenden Künstler:innen wird eine Aufwandsentschädigung ausgezahlt. Den Straßenmusiker:innen aus dem Ausland wird zusätzlich ein Reisekostenzuschuss gewährt. Zusätzlich dürfen natürlich CDs verkauft und Hutgeld gesammelt werden.
All participating artists will be paid an allowance. The street musicians from abroad will also receive a travel allowance. In addition, of course, CDs may be sold, and hat-money be collected.
